To make easier painting, is very useful to use wet palette. Almost everyone knows how to prepare it, but the beginner painters maybe have doubts about it.

The wet palette is very popular between miniature painters that use acrylic paints, because it avoids drying (the same painting could last several days without drying). This allow us to use the same paintings and mixtures during days, and this is very useful and economic.

- Agua

Basically to mount a wet palette to manage the paintings we will need:
- A box or a tray (is better if it has a cover) with border to avoid water leaks.
- Oven paper
- Paper or baize to the base
- Water

We wet the baize or the paper using water until it gets wet. we put it in the tray as a base. Over this base we will put the oven paper. To know if the palette is well done, we have to check if the oven paper sticks to the baize / paper base. If it doesn't stick to the base is because the baize is too dry.

And now our wet pallete is ready to be used!

Another alternative could be the ice palette (not very useful during spanish summer):
